Cycling from Cockermouth to Loweswater

The Lorton Valley is one of my favourite places. Gentle farmland at first, before the mountains ease down towards the road. Grand fells, with grand names. Hopegill Head. Grassmoor. Melbreak.

So here is a little picture blog of a 15-mile ride from Cockermouth via Lorton to Loweswater, and back on the old C2C route. Enjoy.

Well, it amused me.
